I've been designing since I was 16 years old. I was a self-taught graphic and web designer for a few years before I decided to go to school for design and turn my passion into my career. I have an MFA in Communication Design, and I worked in digital marketing for 8 years before I stepped away from the agency world.

I started Magik Jems because I wanted a space to share my art with others, and I wanted to create a business that was my own. Where I could create the art that I want to create. Art is very healing for me, and it has been so helpful during my spiritual journey. I really love creating, and I am so thankful that other people enjoy my art and can relate to the things I share.

After so many years in the agency world, creating designs and websites for clients, I needed to create art for myself again. Like I used to back in the day before I started working professionally. I fell in love with art all over again. And through this process, I fell in love with myself again. I have learned so much about myself.
